Pick of the day in The Guardian, The Independent, The Radio Times, The Telegraph, The Sunday Times, Time Out, The Stage.
def worth listening to (or listening again to), great cast, powerful play.
I, meanwhile, will be writer-in-residencing in Havant. Working with student groups, adult writers, the local youth theatre, and anyone else who wants to play! Very much looking forward to it – in the way that only an excessively full timetable can make you look forward and quake just a little at the same time.
And we loved havin’ you in Havant this weekend! Brilliant improv with the kids and your tops are fab! (Thanks for signing my copy of your latest novel–can’t wait to read it).

Thank you so much for your workshop today with the youngsters of Havant’s Dynamo Youth Theatre. It was fantastic and made such a wonderful impact on all the young people involved.
Thank you once again.

ah thank you! I had the loveliest weekend. all the workshops were great, lovely people all round, and then the Dynamo Youth were amazing – engaged, intelligent and enthusiastic. what more can you ask when starting work at 10.15am and knowing you’ll have created an (unscripted) performance by 6.30pm??!!
shattered and pleased now … x

great writing workshop on saturday stella, I think it’s the best I’ve ever been to. I don’t think I’ve had so much fun writing before – it’s always been a bit serious and ‘arty’.
Thanks again for all your energy and insights.
